The Maus descends quickly towards the rocky terrain surrounding Scorponok's coordinates. Despite Scourge's best attempts, the loss of both the engines and navigational systems cause the ship to crash land in a small valley in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Inferno finds himself thrown to the front of the ship as he is walking out of the armory. He collides with Dirge and Blitzwing and winds up in a heap of transformer parts, laughing manically.
As per Galvatron's view-master, the city mode version of Scorponok sits nestled near a large mountain at the far end of the valley. Although Optimus Prime is nowhere in sight. Inferno begins to pull himself together as another message comes through for Galvatron.

Just as Galvatron, Inferno and Scourge arrive at Scorponok's main building entrance, the door swings open.
A loud deep voice is heard greeting the decepticons as it echoes the hallways.

The Decepticons reach the entrace of the large Decepticon base, all corridors are well lit and a large sign showing "this way to the pub" was displayed by the main entrance. As Galvatron sets foot inside, he is greeted by a loud booming voice.

If you want to know what I've been up to lately. My story is rather short.
I had countless attempts to destroy that Autobot commander Cambreaker.

Each attempt was a failure. I ended up destroying myself and I've been offline for over a year. I'm not really sure but I think I had some gangster-bots help revive my spark. I never did get to meet those guys. But once I was revived and my spark was replaced into my newly built body, I have returned to where I left off. DESTROYING CAMBREAKER! DESTROYING ANY AUTOBOT THAT STANDS IN MY WAY!
Weapon fortress? Space bridge? Energon hidden throughout the planet? Autobots are the evil? Earthquake?
This will be like taking energon from a minicon.

You guys, I've been offline for over a year now. Somebody throw me a bone here and keep me informed on these things!
I have heard of this place called Las Vegas. It's a place where people throw their hard earned money away in hopes of winning more. My studies show that this place is powered by the Hoover Dam. If we shut the dam down, the city will lose it's power. The humans will destroy each other until the power is turned back on.
So my plan is Inferno, Scourge and Blitzwing go to the dam.
Tell the operator that you are Autobots. Scourge looks enough like Optimus Prime, they should believe you. Destroy the humans and shut the power down. Dirge and I will go to Las Vegas and make ourselves known as heroes. With bargaining skills we can convince the humans to give us energon and we will return power to the dam.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

Scorponok listens and interjects his own thoughts about Galvatron's plan, I thought it might be worth mentioning that about a year ago some Autobots came and blew up the Hoover Dam. It was a nasty mess and it was all you could get on TV for weeks. The Earth people renovated the Davis Dam just down river and are using that to power Las Vegas now. Just trying to be helpful.
Inferno had been standing idly by as the plan was laid out. He was glad to be back on Earth but felt no closer to finding Time Traveller. He saluted Galvatron when the plan was announced.

By sunset, Galvatron and Dirge find themselves standing on a hillside outside city limits of Las Vegas. The lights, lit up the sky.
