Tuesday, October 12, 2004: Takara has been releasing smaller versions of some of the more popular early G1 Transformers in a line called Worlds Smallest Transformers. The name "Worlds Smallest Transformers" is self-explanatory. These WSTF figures have the look and transformability of their larger counterparts, but are more closer in size to Micromasters. Just like SCF (Super Collection Figures aka PVC figures), the Worlds Smallest Transformers figures were released by wave in cases of 12, with the specific figures included unknown. Figures are packed randomly, and there's no guarantee a pack of 12 will contain a complete set of figures from each wave. 'Master Cases' of 48 figures (4 sets of 12 cases) were also available. Rare figures (known as 'Chase figures') were included in these cases in much lower quantities than the regular figures from each wave.
