Overlord's sales thread

Hello Welcome to my sales thread. I'm moving so need to let go of some items so I can bring less crap, as well as generate some funds (PLEASE NOTE, due to the expediency of my move, I must post all unsold items to eBay next weekend)! All items are complete loose with instructions unless specified. P...

Re: Collecting Headmasters

Ok. I've set a goal for myself for 2011 and that is to acquire all of the original G1 Headmasters ever produced. While I probably won't be able to land a complete Fort Max without mortgaging the house I won't sweat it too much if I can't get him this year. However I do plan on kicking things off by...

I thought about it for awhile, and humor me here because it'd cost a small fortune, but..... How extremely EPIC would it be to have the gestalts made into a masterpiece series? Maybe starting with a little known Decepticon combiner called Devastator ! http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f123/leunames...

I have a ton of boxes, but most of them are in rough shape. Im liking your idea TT about the random modes. The tallest to shortest which I call photo-op style, is the way i've had to do it for years since i've never really had a way to show them all off. I have an entire wall to do this with, even ...

WHEN you exclude all the japanese exclusives. That's a lot of exclusives, particularly new castings! Actually, come to think of it, the West had what figures as exclusives? Groundbreaker, Splashdown, Sky High, and Iguanus, Bugly, and Finback... To Japan's entirety of Victory, Operation: Combination...

well, if you apply that statement to modern transformers, then sure. However the entire G1 line is of parity between the domestic and japanese release, when you exclude japanese exclusive molds.

all non-leader ROTF are the same as well, barring a few minor differences.

Matrix of Leadership > Borg Just sayin'. :P ...Huh. i wonder what the Matrix would do to the Borg. After all, it's not like the Matrix would, for example, compel Superion to separate into the individual Aerialbots, right? even though a combiner team's gestalt form is a lot like the Borg collective....

Re: Buster ROTF Optimus Prime Figure

Does anyone own this Takara version of Optimus Prime? Couple of questions: 1) Has this figure been released in the US yet? 2) The Jetfire figure to complete him..you have to buy it separately? **Saw one listed on Ebay for $170 bucks!!! :( i have the two pack. Jetfire from the 2 pack>>>>>jetfire fro...

A scaled down fort max...that I would purchase. They made one of these... I think it was called... Metroplex? Seriously though, I'm having a hard time picturing Max scaled down to Scorponok's size... just seems like he'd end up overly blocky. If you have a link, please PM me. Which of the Jap...

Methinks you haven't bought Fort Max in awhile... MIB *starts* at about $1000. Bloody knock-off companies :(. I wish they would at least have *some* modicum of scruples about the situation. The real shame is, if they had any brains or originality whatsoever, they would realize that they could sell ...

Heads up alert for you fort max-forlorn collectors: Depending on your spending habits and preferences, you may/may not want to get a fort max anytime soon , as a KO toy dealer made a post on another board that Fort Max is due later this year for a KO release...same company that's been making the G1 ...

aaaand "it pleases me to be the first" to answer your question. This is none other than the transformer in both my sig and my avatar, the Decepticon Godmaster/Powermaster commander, Overlord!! it was released in japan in 1988 and in europe 3 or so years later. So the figure is a bit old an...

Edit 4: These three figures also came in the "Big-Powered" gift set box. A mammoth sized box. A MIB big-owered gift box i saw sold for almost 1000 bucks. cheaper to get them individually on their own, but the gift box is at a crazy premium, much like the computron and abominus gift set box...

^Yes, it does work. I'm too lazy to take a pic but the fit is snug and will suit your purposes. Though you may want to get launchers from a reissue G1 skywarp (not sure if they even "launch") as the original G1s don't really launch the missile...they just let it come out a little.
