Thanks for the pics! His head mold is so much better than the Masterpiece Prime. Faceplate looks a little flat, but I always thought the head on Masterpiece was crappy all around.

I'm fairly sure it's licensed. I guess it's like a bigass diecast action master. It's got articulation and accessories, just doesn't transform.

It's a non-transforming die cast cartoon accurate Prime. It's pre-masterpiece by a few years. I can't remember the company that made them off the top of my head, but it's not Takara. It's about 12" or so. Actually, I was googling for an image while typing this, and I found one of it with MP Pri...

Anybody out there have a Metal Force Optimus Prime?

I've wanted one of these for years and years. I've never seen one in person and rarely online.

BUT, if any of you have one, and have a Masterpiece Optimus, any chance of a picture of them side by side? I've been dying to see them together since the Masterpiece first had pictures released online.

I can't stand light piping. It looks okay (and just okay) if the light is at the right angle, and you look at the figure from the right angle. But the other 98% of the time it just looks like dark eyes.

I don't think he got a totally unfair price, just on the low end of the spectrum. There were other figures included (and a couple others boxed) that I don't remember. Also, from what I saw, everything was original. I did not get to check the boxed stuff, but it did look legit. The guys working there...

Do you think this guy got a fair deal?

I was at my local toy shop the other day. While I was there, a guy came in with a lot of Transformers for sale. From what I can remember: Metroplex, mint, white, did not notice all his parts but there was a lot of stuff in one box and I couldn't make everything out (or I saw the parts and don't reme...

thats cool. 5% breakage isnt bad for 2 boys!...do they like the old school ones better than the newer ones?? or both the same? or the newer ones more? They don't really differentiate between old and new. For them it's about who the toy is. I have all the G1 DVDs for them to watch, so they are more ...

I have two boys, 4 and 3. They both love Transformers. They both do a good job of transforming them, even some of the complex ones. They have access to about 65% of my collection (and have broken about 5%) and have a bunch of their own. They get down on their hands and knees making the transform noi...

I guess I could have supplied a link: http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/en_US/discover/transformers-toy-giveaway Basically, spend $25 dollars worth of certain TF merchandise and get three figures. I can't remember what the commercial shows for free figures, just that one is Soundwave. I think getti...
