actually, in some of the illustrated storybooks, including the book and tape ones, prowl is second in command. i thought jazz was just spec ops commander, like shockwave. 1985 annual has the full command chart in the back of it.....errr, don't have the book right here, think it's in the loft - will...

If they do the movie then they simply have to make it on Cybertron, just so that they can effectively "kill" any character that they wish to invent before the TF's come to earth in the Ark without mucking up the comic line. A young Prime, Kup and stuff causing problems for Megatron would b...

No mention of Springer yet, a natural leader...better than crisis of confidence Ultra Magnus anyway. Inferno wouldn't be a leader, I agree, I just think he's probably the most selfless character of all the Autobots. If we're talking a robot to command alongside, or in my stead - then Hound has the b...

Inferno. Brave, determined, and committed to self sacrifice and doing the right thing. Might not be the brightest, strongest etc but he's more likely to give an honest opinion that most and isn't just a 'yes man'. On the badguy side of things - Snap Trap. Truly he should have been leader of the Dece...

It's pretty spot-on for a toy conevrsion to a full size car would look, cept for the siren lights being oversized.

And let's face it, everybody has seen the 'real' Wheeljack and various others - s'nice to see how pig ugly Prowl would have been. Yeuch, Datsuns.

No, not me - but it made me laugh and reminded me of how the TF guys must've gone through hundreds of dumb ideas before settling on Reflector and Perceptor ;)

The doors being attached to the wheels which are attached to the shoulder joints etc are the only flaw in the design really. That and the gun is a bit poncy and about as menacing as a hairdryer. The Car Bonnet flapping around his arse is also a bit pooh - but I doubt there was much else of an option...

i was playing around with alternators poses "A troubled leader" http://home.ripway.com/2004-2/73852/Change%20the%20Guard/a_troubled_leader.JPG That's how it always should have been. Prime was meant to have been the most powerful Autobot (cept for the obvious Metroplex and certain others)....

I doubt they only ever had 1 mould, 1 one country. Chances are there was a European mould, US mould and a Jap mould (for different language stamps on their backsides etc and to meet certain safety requirements in the differing regions).

They're all the same 3 piece sets of base, gun/pipe shaft and top piece. Have never worked out what the top bit is supposed to be to be honest.

Depends if it's still in your Cache Savanna. I use phpwebhosting. $9.95 a month, plenty of space (frankly unlimited providing you talk to them about it). At one point I had 6 or 7 x 50meg files uploaded (game patches I made) plus my usual 50 or so meg of stuff. But then that's not exactly what you n...

Syd Mead, I saw his website a while ago.....I think it was because he drew some concept stuff for "Aliens" that I bothered to look him up (I'm an Aliens fan y'see). As for D&D. Yep, played it from the age of 7'ish, D&D, then AD&D then AD&D 2nd Ed and then a little 3rd Ed. D...

My first interest as a kid was to design cars. Perhaps bizarrely/coincidentally, a lot of the shapes I drew back then are now appearing in modern cars. I figure whatever it was that was informing my attitude to shapes was also influencing the guys who went on to design such wonderful things as the X...
