They actually did make a Speed Stars version of Mirage. I don't know how limited the distribution was as line was on the way out at the time but I did see some at local ShopKo stores. I don't remember what the car model looked like but the image underneath was actually of the movie version of the ch...

There is going to be a Legion-class Mirage toy out soon, however, it is a repaint of the ROTF Legends-class Sideways. In all fairness, that mould is probably the best choice if you HAVE to use a repaint for Mirage but I was really hoping Hasbro would make a generic Ferrari-ish car that would change ...

Picked up a few items this weekend: ROTF Deluxe Jolt (Cool toy, although I really don't know why the designers chose to put a connection peg where they did on the bottom edge of the right foot (the front bumper piece of the foot). I think in the future, it'll be hard to find a loose Jolt with that l...

TT's right. The legends have become great little toys and come a long way since the original Cybertron pieces. The Devastator cons look great, especially Overload. Can't wait for these things to hit the U.S.Time Traveller wrote:the legends class toys ARE a bit small, but they've generally been pretty excellent...

It's a KO bonanza! I love the movie legends-class figures and I love KOs so I absolutely had to have a set of these bad boys... http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj205/Vehicon_Thrust/MovieLegendKOs1.jpg They're typical KO quality (limbs falling off, transformations very iffy if not impossible on so...

In fact, I tried to remove the pin and reverse the hinge, but DAMN, that thing is STUCK! I was here with the cab portion removed, hammering on a tap to try to loosen that pin, and it did not budge. I wouldn't recommend this! Further, If i remember right, if you DO reverse the pin, it will actually ...

ROTF Mixmaster Assembly Error
OK, so I finally got Mixmaster today and he's a great figure, but when transforming him I was dismayed to see that one of the pieces was flipped in the wrong direction (rotated 180 degrees around the long axis of the piece, compared to the illustrations in the instructions). The piece in question is...

I cringe when Decepticons die. I can barely watch. Ravage, Sideways... I can think of a couple of the new Autobots I would have much rather seen gutted or sliced in half rather than those 'cons. On a different topic... What's the official deal with Grindor (both on-screen and off)? On-screen: Is he...

Where the heck did that KO cassette thread go?!? Anywho, got mine in, they are great. Nice KOs, Ramjet. I bought some KOs online the other day. I'll have to post some pics when they arrive. Got ROTF leader Jetfire yesterday and he is AWESOME! I'm in a rush (to go out and get leader megatron before ...

Just seen pics of the ROTF Toaster Bot and the Scalpel Bot. I want one of each! Anyone have these yet? They are pretty cool! :D I picked up Scalpel a week or so ago (I'm a sucker for a bug-bot). Des is right about the legs being limited in their flexibility which hurts him a bit because he's so fro...

I highly doubt that Bay,just in order to add more 80's G1 feeling would have inserted typical errors of those years with mixed characters ,as a funny joke for old fans  . Scrapper, I never thought about it as an intentional sly reference to the quaint mistakes of the original series. You're ri...

Saw it yesterday and came away disappointed. Maybe I had expectations that were too high this time around. I wanted more robots, as in more character development of the bots. Get to know them more. The movie does give us more robots, as in more 'bots in every frame. I wish we could have seen some mo...
