Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
Sorry, Tracks. Your stunning auto mode got 13 mpg and barely coughed up 190 hp. Prowl and Bluestreak were as fast, WITHOUT flames.

Re: Eaglemoss Transformers Chess set
One word: Megatronia. Now LISTEN. I know she just came out of Unite Warriors a year ago, but this sexy ladder lady is being harshly scorned by the Western patriarchy. Behind every Destron leader has been a strong Destron wife... Megaempress, Lyzack, Esmeral, uhhhh... Crasher... No, I wholly agree wi...

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
Those hacks over at ToyHax will undoubtedly do an upgrade set. Why do you need it? You probably don't. RTS Turbo Tracks is a fine figure, with a detailed deco from years with larger dx class budgets. Unless you're particularly fixated on cartoon accuracy or C3 Corvettes, Turbo Tracks has aged well a...

Lol! Let's get Trance's dad in here, he's the owner of a professional chess set company. Besides, I already have a Transformers chess set: https://www.transformerland.com/store/i ... G_0396.JPG
I'll pass until Chess 2 drops.

Re: New toy purchases
MP Tracks has a fine deco, probably because they were willing to compromise on the cartoon accuracy a bit. KD Tracks does a fantastic job scaling down the MP to a Deluxe price point, but I think the deco leaves something to be desired, especially with the underwhelming hood emblem!

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
If you've got a drill, get yourself some Plastruct, and drill, pin and Plastruct that peg. As for KD Tracks, it seems like he's a mini-masterpiece. As long has he doesn't break as a result of being scaled down from a much larger figure, I'm happy with him. He seems like a weird choice for KD, since ...

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
If you want a stompy Grimlock, FOC Grim's fists are in just the right spot. Speaking of which, we've gotten 86 Grimlock and Slag, and it sounds like Sludge is slated for next year. The big Q is: Will we get Snarl? He wasn't in the movie, and he'd have to be a leader to match (I'll accept a voyager f...

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
The T30 Springer mold is one of the greatest of all time, and I'd buy it in Beast Machines Rattrap colors if they issued it. That said, Sureshot would have been a great use of the Sandstorm retool, yes, and would have left me crying for the other two TM, just as Siege Crosshairs did. One day, they w...

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
Well, you technically have Cloud voyager Brawn... But I get your point. There are so many interesting deluxes that could be made out of minor characters that only had small shitty toys in G1. I was big into Generations '09-'10 doing characters like Thunderwing and Skullgrin by combining the notewort...

Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
Part of me understands the whole size class bumping thing. But, Deluxes ran for $10 from about 1996 to 2007, and I'm not sure how they maintained that price point for so long. The fact that prices rose from $10 to the current $22 in the course of around 10 years did kind of hurt, but it honestly hur...

Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
Anybody else collecting these? What are your takes, other than that this feels like Generations (2009) and Transformers 2010 (Reveal the Shield portion) all over again with the confusing division of who goes in what box? I'm getting more OK with figures being sold as one size class larger than they ...
