Re: Studio '86 and Kingdom (G1 portion)
I think this is their way of sneaking in the higher price point for the ever shrinking classes. I mean, not only have Deluxes gone from $7.00 in 2007 (starting at Classics) to $20 today, but compare Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper to WFC of the same characters. If I stand "voyager" Hot ...

Shang-Chi:The legend the ten rings (2021) - Maggy's movie reviews
Caveat: I enjoy the Marvel. The plug & play formula of those movies is almost always enjoyable. Even the duds are kinda okay the first time you watch them. However, it is not unfair to say that the formula makes them repetitive and episodic. This review is very tainted with that sentiment. So, S...

Disney's Jungle Cruise (2021) - Maggy's Movie Reviews
So, what is there to saw about yet another movie made about a theme park ride. The Rock and Office Jim's real life wife get on a boat with her brother. The big plot point of this film is similar to Pirates of the Caribbean as there is a curse involved. It tries to be funny like Haunted Mansion (and ...

Free Guy (2021)- Maggy's movie reviews
Ryan Reynolds stars as an NPC in a MMO style video game. One day he wakes up in his little world, and starts to break his routine. Over time he becomes more aware of his surroundings, up to and including accessing player controls. As his personality, dare say humanity, grows the greedy developer of ...

I do have the Armada Hot Shot in Excellion colors (as well as the Excellion figure), but not in standard yellow.
And before you sit here and guess every single hot rod ever, I will post pics.

Re: New toy purchases
Magnus, you're missing the Micro TF Hot Rodimus that came with the original Star Convoy. No I am not. :P And the Primus lucky draw redeco of the G1 Rodimus mold. That is a different character, thus is not part of a HotRod/Rodimus collection. They other thing to remember about me is my rule about &q...

Malignant (2021)- Maggy's movie reviews
Since we have a relaunch, I might as well help you guys out with reviews of some of the dozens of movies I see in the theater monthly. I have one of those unlimited passes, and I waste a lot of time at the cinema. So, on to today's subject. Malignant is the new film from director James Wan (The Conj...

Re: New toy purchases
Yesterday I received Gigawatt and a few others from BBTS (including the new Ramjet G2 recolor with the WFC seeker mold). My road to collecting the main line is coming to an end soon, unless they come out with more of the G1 mini characters in deluxe or larger sizes (brawn, outback, windcharger, etc....

Re: Help! My son desperately wants these!
First, hello and welcome! My mind instantly went to this: http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/2947092.html which took me here: http://www.plaidstallions.com/mattel79/shogunt.jpg What you had was Combattler V (or Combatra). Either that, or a reasonable knock off. Any search for Shogun Warriors will bri...

Re: Reissue vs. OG....... where do you stand?
OG is a 90's term meaning "Original Gangsta." It was a rap term meant to separate rappers that actually grew up the hard way in areas like Compton, versus Rob Van Winkle who grew up in the suburbs and wanted ab9out how hard he had it coming up and how legitimate he was. It has been adopted...

Generations Skids
I have heard complaints about how the mold is giving people problems. I wondered whet the problem could be, because Skids had to be a recolor (MOLD FLOG!) of 2007 Classics Bee and Jumper. I mean, the main complaint in 2007 was that this mold looked like a turbo hatchback a la Skids instead of a Porc...

Re: TRU Platinum Editions
If you're going to attempt to paint over the clear plastic, that is that trailer and have it look presentable, then you're braver than I am. I've went over this at length with friends that own YOTH Prime and covering it with a solid gray sticker set and then adding the Reprolabels for the str...

Re: TRU Platinum Editions
The appeal to YOTH Optimus, to me, is that you can pick it up for $130, and then either paint the trailer (simple enough design) or customize, or just have a great piece that is a little off for a crap load less cash. The Starscream is also a great piece for those that missed him 8 years ago. As for...

Hey, does anyone do Macross or Robotech? Minerva and I just watched a fan subtitle of the original series, and now I want to see some pix of a nice collection so I don't have to buy my own :) I am two pieces shy of my Macross collection being complete, in my mind. The two I remain in need of are Ri...
