What do I buy?

OK, I don't know anything about Transformers. I bought my kid a Unicron (Energon). It's the black one. I want to buy him Optimus Prime and Megatron but I'm looking and see these Powerlinx and Energon and maybe some others. What do I buy? Are they different sizes, colors? What do I buy to go with the Unicron I have? He is six years old. Please help so I can get them before everyone runs out of them. Also, where is the best place to buy?

energon megatron is available exclusively at wal-mart. wally world and target usually have the best price on powerlinx/energon.
