noob question about original G1 series...
No doubt this has been asked before (though I searched and found nothing) and the answer is no, but...
You know at the start of the G1 cartoons and Wheeljack turns into a white Thunderbird 4 and Bumblebee turns into a flying saucer...
Did they ever make any toys resembling those?
I'd bloomin love a Wheeljack one. Maybe I could just pull the wheels off and pretend.

For what it is worth I have never come across an official toy of either Wheeljack or Bumblebee in their cybertron modes from the G1 cartoon...
But then again, I see new stuff all the time so I may have just missed it.
Rumble.

R.I.P, Menasor.
I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.
Is +1 on Kups list.

Its more likely that bioth Cybertron Bumblebee and the ship in Independence Day are both based on Sci-fi movies from the 40's and 50's.
As for your original question...
We almost got one of Bumblebee

Yeah i've always liked BB's cybertronian mode over the vw. I've always wanted to see the seekers in cybertronian mode as well...sorta got close with CYB Starscream.
All that was needed is a catalyst... and the machines of war are set in motion.
