Grand Maximus Color Question

Post by SentinelPrime »

I recently purchased a stripped down G1 Fortress Maximus figure to repaint as Grand Maximus. I'm needing help to decipher the actual color for areas such as: his head, around his legs where his leg cannons are mounted, and his communication door sections on his right side. As you will see in different pics of the real one for comparison the color seems to vary.

Is it a greenish color, if so what shade of green? Or does it look like it's a greyish color? I don't know what color to go with. Help please????

its more of a grey/blue - dark turquoise color.

The color variations present in the pics may be due to sunlight discoloration, camera flash etc.

I agree with Deszaras. Looks like a dark version of the paint on my '57 chevy. A dark teal.
