Post by LD2062 »

Does anyone know if the beastbox cassette was ever reissued?

If so how do I tell which is which?

not that I know of. You could only get him packaged with squaktalk during G1. They have not been reissued

{YET, Takara may reissue all the cassettes as part of encore. I'm hoping we get some dino cassette encores that would be awesome.}

Me too, although I bet they would be sold out so fast my head would spin.

I dunno. KISS Players are still affordable. Granted, they're not on the *quite* the same desirability scale as the dino-cassettes... but yeah. Takaraa MUST do this (though they won't. Seems they only want to reissue things that are already affordable on the secondary market, just to mess with our heads.)

In the 90's China made some identicle to the original American ones. Usually, they have a small chinese sticker on the top left of the card.

Well, actually HASBRO had them made, for sale in China. The sticker can easily be peeled off (and you CAN also have a sticker on a genuine G1 if it was sold in Taiwan!). The better tell is to look at the legalese line. If it mention Japan, it's original. If it omits any reference to Japan, it's a 90's China official reissue.

yes, I had the Ironhide one and curently have a Hound and a Sixshot. The Sixshot is real good quality, but that Ironhide was real garbage.
