ROTF Voyager Alien Form {AKA the fallen}

Post by Deszaras »

The fallen:- {Hasbro calls him alien form, but we all know who he really is}

Robot mode:-
Image
He's primarily a dark greenish blue with painted orange applications and clear red plastic panels. He features spring loaded feet which makes him quite stable in robot mode. He does lack moveable knees {they can rotate for transformation buts there not much movement in them.}. His arms are highly manueaverable allowing for a lot of posing. There's a lot of soft rubbery plastic throughout mind and it is possible to tab the arms into his torso like in movie images but this renders him even more of a robotic statue.

Rating: - 7/10 {Colours really work and he looks awesome in person. Shame about the lack of leg articulation.}

Transformation:-
You basically fold the robot into his alt mode. Its not as straightforward as you might expect but its nothing special.

Rating 5/10

Vehicle mode:-

For a folded up robot I quite like this. It just looks inherently alien and ancient at the same time. Kinda reminds me of the alternate mode of megatron from the first movie line. Its a lot nicer than that though. The skid landing gear adds to this style very nicely.

8/10 {Shame the cockpit doesn't lock into place, it kinda flops around when he's picked up. }

Overall:-
Robot:- 7/10
Transformation:- 5/10
Vehicle mode:- 8/10

Notes: The Fallen looks suitably menacing and evil in his robot mode which is his better mode. Probably why he is packaged that way.

Total:- 6.7/10 [A nice figure but only get him if you like how he looks.]
