ROTF scalpel review

Post by Deszaras »

Scapel
Alt mode:-
Image
While this is a disguised robot there are problems. The quif of the robot mode will bend if stored where the instructions show. It will also not sit flat due to the way the legs fold up underneath the alt mode.

Rating 5/10

Transformation:-
Complex and frustrating as there are very fragile parts that may be broken right out of the package. Most notably the holders for the legs.

Rating 4/10

Robot mode:-

In this mode all of the horrible cripling faults of this figure are on display. First the legs are very weak and the holders for them break with the slightest pressure {Mine were broken when I opened the package, before I first handled him, once this happens they cannot be fixed}. It has terrible balance and posability due to the way its designed.

Rating 1/10

Final rating [alt 5/10, transformation 4/10, robot mode 1/10] 3.3/10

final note:-
DO NOT BUY THIS FIGURE. It is bloody awful and is horribly designed. With better quality plastic and more design time used in its construction it could have been a good figure, as it stands its the worst ROTF figure I have yet handled.

I didn't realize it was so fragile. Thanks for the warning.

I can second this. Mine had one cracked when I opened it, and another had cracked by the end of that same day.

I must be the odd bot out then. I kinda like my Scalpel. I was shocked at the balance, better than expected, and when mine is in alt. mode it sits pretty flat. I dunno, maybe my circuits are frayed, but I think he's ok.

I like him. I just don't like how fragile he is. Mine sits flat in Microscope mode to.
