I recently got a good size lot of g1. The lot included two diaclone insecticons and black ironhide. I got a complete megatron and sound wave which are only stamped takara japan. Megatron is the red leg version and soundwave is his original color. I know for a fact they are not reissue. I have obviously never see tf without date stamps and couldn't find any specifics on why this is. So if anyone has any knowledge to share on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Early molds don't have years stamped. Yours are either Microchange figures, or very first runs of 1984 Transformers. If Soundwave has a Transformers tape door, which doesn't say "Cassete Man", then it's for sure an early 1984 issue.
