Is the Armada Unicron roughly the same size as the Cybertron Primus?

Now this is what I don't understand, Primus and Unicron in the States are $50, bring them to the UK and they are £50, which is almost $100. Why? I know there is an import tax but my god come on, double the price? Anybody?

Perhaps someone over here in the States could "hook you up" with one.

Yes Galvatron but the cost of getting it over means we may as well buy it here. There are 2 hook tf jokes that I can see dirge. Tho it may noy be tf related at all.

Galvatron?

I'll leave that up to everyone's own personal imagination

You are right though, shipping would just make the total around the same as the normal price in your area. :?

This measure seems to be taken by other distributors, not only Hasbro.

Actually, it should be less expensive to get the figure at retail (Unicron is heavy as well), as they have to stock larger quantities than a individual. However, it may have to do with overall cost of living, market behavior, availability, etc.. I believe all Transformer products which will be sold in the western side of the world are first shipped to the USA and then to the other countries. However, I don't think it should cost you USD50 to ship a box from the States to the UK... I have heard a Matchbox car costs around GBP1 in the UK, which is also twice the price in America. This sounds more like an organized and legallized ripoff to me.
