Current Decepticon Roster

Post by Blackjack »

This is a revision of the earlier roleplay character rosters created by Galvatron (thanks Galvy). With the shifting events of the roleplay over the last few years, the cast of characters has significantly changed. In order to avoid confusion about who is currently playing I would like it if anyone who is a DECEPTICON currently involved in the roleplay could post a character profile here. I would prefer that your profile be layed out in the following way.

NAME

Function: Character's role or job within their faction.

Character Stats (optional): This isn't a neccessary thing to do, but it's fun and gets you thinking about how your character comapares to other player's characters. If you're using a character straight out of some TF continuity feel free to just post that character's stat card if you know it. The stats represented here are the following. If anyone has a better (or official) description of what the stats stand for, please let me know.

STR: Strength, the character's physical strength.
INT: Intelligence: the character's mental ability not exclusively IQ.
SPD: Speed, the character's reaction time and physical speed.
END: Endurance: the character's toughness and ability to take damage.
RNK: Rank: a rough estimate of the character's place on their faction's chain of command.
COR: Courage: a rough estimate of the character's bravery.
FRP: Firepower: a rough estimate of how much heat a character is packing.
SKL: Skill: a rough estimate of how competent a character is at performing most tasks.

Character Description: What the character looks like. Please post this even if you're playing a well known character (like Optimus Prime). Include a description of the character's alt mode(s). This can be as short or detailed as you would like.

Character Bio: Can be a few sentences or a long, epic tale of the character's past and present condition. Regardless of the length, details are always appreciated. You don't need to share everything, for instance if your character has a deep secret that not many people know about don't put it here.

Weapons/Abilities: What does the character use in combat? What else can the character do? What are they known for?

Weaknesses: Every character should have some weakness. Can be as simple as a malfunctioning weapon or as complicated as an irrational fear of things flying overhead.

Dialogue Font Color: (if you use this) Many players have started using a specific color for their character's speech text. Please let us know what color you use so that we can tell you apart.

Character Owned Ships, Binary Bonded Partners, Vehicles, etc. Just list and give a brief description. You can make a separate entry for them if you would like.

GALVATRON

Decepticon Commander

Strength 9.5
Intelligence 8.5
Speed 9
Endurance 10
Rank 9
Courage 9
Firepower 9
Skill 10

50ft tall. Purple and grey with an orange laser cannon attached to his right arm. Transforms into a giant laser gun with tank treads
Image.
Also can transform and shrink to a handgun that other Decepticons can shoot with.
Image Sometimes he chooses his newest alt mode of a gray tank with orange turret.

Galvatron is Megatron. Upgraded and remolded by Unicron in the darkest hours of Cybertron. Galvatron ruled the future of the remaining Decepticons after the destruction of Prime and Megatron. yet time and time again, most of his plans were foiled by Autobots. So Galvatron created a Timewarp and was sent back in time (Current time). His plan was to destroy any Autobot that ruined his plans in the future. Namely Cambreaker. But with unsucessful attempts using Acme products, Galvatron has failed to destroy his biggest foe.
With all the battle wounds and countless times of being repaired, Galvatron has a few nuts and bolts missing in his memory banks. He has fallen a little bit off the deep end. A few fries short of a happy meal.
This gives him the power to be ruthless to any bot or con that crosses his path. Even his own followers fear his abilities and unstableness. He does not think about the effect of his cause. His only thoughts are ruling the galaxy (and fembots).

His main weapon is his laser cannon. Once you hear the whistling sound of his laser cannon being turned on, you know it's time to duck and cover. The laser cannon shoots 500 yards on target. This weapon is also used in gun mode as the barrel of the gun. Also in his tank mode as the turret.

His only known physical weakness is his 9volt battery. After all the war wounds and destruction to his body, the 9volt battery is what keeps his spark shining bright.
His mental weakness is more obvious to others. He's just a few blocks away from being put in an institution. He especialy goes wild around Fembots. Or anything that gives out a certain innuendo.

During Role Play, when the Mighty Galvatron speaks, everybody listens to the violet lettering

DESTRON SPACE MAFIA BACKGROUND
(out of character knowledge!):
Pinstripe is descended from a colony of Autobots on the planet Licis that left Cybertron before the Great War broke out. When the Great War threatened to spill into their backwater system, the heads of the colony offered otherwise unavailable military protection to the unarmed colonists, in exchange for fanatical loyalty and absence of interference. The populace was thankful, and put their economy and wealth into the hands of the leaders for continuing protection. During the ensuing years, the colonists began to leave their mediocre world as the threat of local war subsided, leaving the colonial leaders without income to fuel their lavish lifestyle. The leaders took to intragalactic crime, continuing their tradition of penultimate secrecy, extreme loyalty, and brutal punishment. While they still call themselves Autobots (only in private), they are known to outsiders as the "Destron Space Mafia" (DSM). Their attitude and tactics have caused them to be known to Cybertronian Autobots as the "Decepticon Space Mafia." To this day, however, they do not side with either faction of the great war, and refer to themselves as Licisians, after their colonial home planet.

Pinstripe
FUNCTION: Interstellar crime syndicate boss

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 10
Endurance: 7
Rank: 10
Courage: 9
Firepower: 4
Skill:7

DESCRIPTION:
Pinstripe's alternate mode is a '38 Ford Deluxe Coupe. He is painted an iridescent black that can look like a dark green, blue, or indigo depending on the viewing angle- a million Shanix paint job, to be sure. His robot mode is very clean and professional. He is well- polished, with a tall, proud stature despite his average size. He stands as tall as a larger Autobot car, like Prowl or Jazz. He prides himself on his fine custom whitewall tires and chrome trim.

BIO:

Pinstripe did not take leadership, per se. His brilliant mind allowed him to wheedle and connive his way to the top, until the other leaders begged him to fill the deceased Switchblade's proton boots. He is both respected and feared by his troops, and holds very high expectations of even the lowest soldier... violations are punished with equal brutality. No one crosses him twice. His success is thanks to a shrewd business mind, but also due to his fundamental distrust of even his closest confidantes in his organization, his Targetmaster partner Chopper is no exception. Pinstripe knows how he got to where he is, and he knows how his successor will someday try to take his place.

WEAPONS AND ABILITIES:

Pinstripe's primary strength does not lie in combat, but in his politics and leadership ability. He is of slightly above-average durability in combat, but soldiers such as Drive-by or Fleetside outclass him by far. He tends to remain behind in battle, ensuring the most effective use of his goons. If cornered or confronted, he will use his Targetmaster partner and bodyguard Chopper to mow down any close range threats. In automotive mode, he has an enormous speed and durability not betrayed by his appearance as an ordinary car. He also has a special extra-dimensional storage space, in which he can carry several times his mass in inanimate goods. During his years as a soldier or captain, he used his unassuming disguise to smuggle or steal large amounts of hi-test energon, weapons, or other goods without reliance on a larger teammate to carry the loot. Even Junkions would admire how many locations he could retrieve stored items from: behind hubcaps, under seats, from within frame rails, under the hood, even in a compartment in the side of his head. He still uses this ability to store high-value items secretly, or keep extra equipment on his person in case of emergencies. Due to the extra-dimensional nature, he is not encumbered by the mass of any stored items, just as Optimus Prime does not feel the weight of his trailer while in robot mode.

WEAKNESSES:
Being of average armor and armament, Pinstripe has physical weaknesses, but no one is alive to talk about them.
Image

Dialogue color: Indigo

External Posessions: Pinstripe transports himself and his personal good squad in a sleek, limousine-like ship called the Sanos Traco. It has stealth capabilities, but has only moderate armor and armament, favoring a greater speed than comparable shuttles.

CHOPPER
FUNCTION: Bodyguard

"On da ground, youse mugs, oah I'll wax yas!"

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 4
Speed: 5
Endurance: 10
Rank: 6
Courage: 10
Firepower: 10
Skill: 6

DESCRIPTION:
Chopper is a brutish, bulky warrior the size of an average Autobot. His alternate mode is an M1928 "Annihilator" Thompson SMG with a drum magazine. His robot mode looks crude, but his seemingly loose-fitting armor make him sturdy in combat and nearly immune to joint fouling or sticking. He is largely gunmetal grey, with practicall no neck holding his small, helmeted head above his large brown wood-covered shoulders.

BIO:

Chopper is the non-violence policy Pinstripe refers to. A goon through-and-through, Chopper has found a special place in Pinstripe's spark because he's dumb enough to be somewhat trustworthy. Chopper is not a binary-bonded Targetmaster partner however, he serves the function similarly. Like a juxtaposed Soundwave and Megatron, Pinstripe wields Chopper with sadistic glee in combat, but in robot mode Chopper is the same size as any average Transformer. To say Chopper loves violence is an understatement. He'll even go so far as to instigate the smarter members of Pinstripe's organization into obvious treachery so Pinstripe will have an excuse to use Chopper as the usurper's punishment. It rarely works as Chopper hopes, as Pinstripes usually recognizes the value of even his most conniving troops alive. Chopper DOES serve SOME non-combat use, as Pinstripe can gauge any treachery by his troops' reactions to Chopper's blundering instigation. Also of note is that Chopper is the only real Decepticon in Pinstripe's employ. He was recruited after being left behind by his elitist Decepticon seeker comrades on the gambling planet Monacus.

WEAPONS AND ABILITIES:
Chopper lives to kill. In his alternate mode (which requires another transformer to use), he can spew high-energy plasma shells at an amazing rate. Despite his poor accuracy, his volume of fire makes him a terrifying opponent nonetheless. He draws surprisingly low power for continuous fire, a unique ability that allows him to be reckless in combat without weakening himself for a longer fight. In robot mode, Chopper is an expert brawler, specializing in restraining or incapacitating robots quickly, rather than a long slugfest resulting in heavy damage to the opponent's body.

WEAKNESSES:
Like any good goon, Chopper does not function well without leadership. Even despite his physical strength, he needs someone to guide him to which opponents he should attack first in order to survive a heavy firefight.

Axor

Function: Bounty Hunter/Foot-soldier

STR: 6
INT: 8
SPD: 7
END: 5
RNK: 4
COR: 5
FRP: 6
SKL: 7

Character Description
: A taller than average, lanky, and basically ugly robot. His torso is primarily grey. His arms and legs are mostly blue. The rest of his body is predominantly grey or silver with red accents. He is also very, very spikey.

(here's both his robot and alt modes!)
Image

Character Bio
: Axor is Lockdown's younger and less successful brother. He wants people to be as afraid of him as they are of Lockdown. Unfortunately, he just isn't. Yet.

Weapons/Abilities: Axor has a minor knowledge of Metallikato, but nothing beyond a few stances and moves. His right hand morphs into both a beam rifle and an axe. The motor block on his left arm is a flash cannon that he uses to escape situations hurriedly.

Weaknesses: He gets mad really really easily, and this can be easily manipulated to his opponent's advantage. He's also very gullible and tends to follow clues given to him, regardless of how accurate they may or may not be.

Dialogue Font Color
: BOLD DARK BLUE, BABY!

Character Owned Ships: None

Well, it's good to know that the most intelligent characters don't have an IQ of 10. (Deja vu is a glitch in the All-Spark. It happens when they change something.)

TT, please forgive my ignorance, but Pinstripe's vehicle mode reminds me of Hubcap, Hubs, and/or Greaser, and i was wondering if you had given any thought (or wanted to give any thought) to the question of whether or not Pinstripe resembled any of them.
One shall stand; one shall fall; and the one who stands shall help the one who falls to stand once again.

my first thought was the ZZ Top Eliminator car
Image

My next thought was the Go-Bot Super Couper

Which happens to be one of the top GB's on my want list.

Actually, Pinstripe is a different era of car styling than the Eliminator (which is a '33 three window). The bot "Deuce" would look similar to Super Couper (who is VERY expensive unbroken). I'll post his bio and pics someday. :P

INFERNO

"I do want to set the world on fire..."

Function: Decepticon Pyrotechnics Expert

STR: 7
INT: 6
SPD: 8
END: 4
RNK: 7
COR: 10
FRP: 6
SKL: 5

Character Description: Inferno had been reborn as a "transmetal" during his career as a Decepticon. He has retained his fire ant robot mode, standing approximately as tall as a leader class transformer. He has little armor as a robot but makes up for this with a pair of oversized flame cannons as armaments. His alt-mode is a powerful drill tank capable of cutting through the Cybertronian ground with ease or even the body of a larger transformer. His most distinguishing characteristic is the wide, toothy grin he displays while in robot mode.

Character Bio: Once a loyal Predacon under the command of the Megatron from the distant future, Inferno was brought to Cybertron through a space time rift. After learning about the current time, he served loyally under the Megatron of that time, becoming one of his subcommanders. After dying to save the Predacons of his time from the threat of a revived Dinobot, Inferno was rebuilt by Time Traveller as a "transmetal". As his time with Megatron wore on, Inferno began to see the leader for what he was: a tyrant who cared little for his soliders as long as his obtained power. He remembered being betrayed by the Megatron of his own time as well and decided to join forces with Time Traveller in a plan that would lead to the end of the war either by an alliance of both factions or in their destruction. Following this falling out, he rejoined the Decepticons. Shortly after rejoining, he intercepted a transmission from Rodimus Prime recalling Autobots from deep space and took it upon himself to prevent these Autobots from reaching Cybertron in a gambit to regain Megatron's trust. After much time has passed, Inferno awakens in Time Traveller's lab to find that he has been rebuilt one final time. He leaves to find a new commander to serve and new enemies to destroy.

Weapons/Abilities: Inferno carries a pair of oversized flamethrower, several times larger than is practical for him to wield. These devices are capable of lighting entire battlefields ablaze. Although much of his madness has passed, Inferno still very much enjoys setting things on fire. His new alt-mode has also given him the ability to use drills as a weapon in hand to hand combat, giving him a close range option that he lacked in his previous form.

Weaknesses: Fanatically loyal to his beliefs and those he considers worthy leaders, Inferno can be a bit wreckless in battle. He often charges head first into the fray eager to light any and all opposition on fire. His light robot form allows for great speed and mobility at the cost of armor and Inferno is easily blown to bits by a well placed blast.

Dialogue Font Color: Dark Red
(Unless it gets confusing with so many people using this color.)

Scourge

"Vengeance is an excuse for failure. I do not seek vengeance."

"Power wielded by incompetence leads to nothing but self destruction."

Function: RiD Decepticon Leader

Scourge is a no-nonsense field commander. Formed during the creation of the Decepticons when Megatron scanned both a tanker truck and Optimus Prime. Because of this mix-up, Scourge resents the Autobots and especially their leader. He's cunning, dangerous and cruel -- if there is any Autobot goodness within his circuits, he covers it up as acts of destruction. His battle station is a fully loaded weapon and high-tech equipment arsenal. Furiously wields his signature sword in battle.
Strength

STR: 10
INT: 9
SPD: 9
END: 10
RNK: 9
COR: 10
FRP: 10
SKL: 10

Character Description: Scourge was found in a stasis pod deep under Cybertron. Not much else is known about him.

Weapons: Scourge carries his signature sword into battle, and can also shoot missiles from the shoulder pods located on his shoulders. His trailer is a high tech equipment armament, and can level an entire battlefield if he so wishes.

Weaknesses: Scourge can sometimes be foolish, diving into battle without weighing the options. His tanker truck mode is slow due to his trailer, and he makes up for it with extra armor.
