error code today

hey guys,

I have gotten this error a few times today and have had to wait 5 mins or so to get back on...

hmmm. It may be because of the recent overhaul. i'll check throguh some settings quick, if it continues let me know.

I got a "forbidden" message when I tried to reply to an specific post - regarding figure identification in the Toy Talk. What could have been? I can reply normally anywhere else.

that much i honestly have no idea about it. thing is, one-time incidents pop up all the time around here. this site has more than a few burps like that.

So far I have been ok, got the error mesage once but is all clear now.

Just for future reference, all "mysql_connect()" errors have to do with the database being unavailable. Almost always it is just temporary while the server reboots or something.

Before we switched servers, there was no telling how long the DB would be down, but the new server seems much more reliable, and they have live tech support as well
