The first war ended with a stalemate and there was a truce declared. Then the zenebas empire was overthrown by military coop and became the neo zenebas empire. The war started again.
Well the neo zenebas empire was winning until the republic deployed the king gojulas. Then they were stuck by a meteor that destroyed one of the planets moons.
Then in the aftermath The newly formed guylos empire started a new war against the helic republic.
forgive me for double-posting (and reviving an ancient topic) but I just got a new zoid: Sea Panther!
(not my image, but it's the same thing)
I'm going to post some pics of my current zoids collection in the "Other Collections" thread soon. Anybody getting any new zoids recently? They're coming out with a whole bunch of new ones, including reissues!
I think it was the first one, in the 'outakes'. There was a snake Zoid (don't know the names) and man! that thing was fast. Zipped right off the table!
Oh and I found a pic of this guy [not my pic] the site called him a Crimson horn:-
sure its a red horn with new parts but its still awesome[unfortunately now I want one.]. Takara Rebirth century reissues win once again. (I still have to track down a gil vader after HLJ couldn't fulfill the order I made. I have a King gojulas on the way though.)
dammit all of you. I am a huge fan of both Transformers and Godzilla, and ever since I was in toy shops hunting down japanese figures 15 years ago i kept thinking how zoids is a great amalgamation of both. I was collecting two separate toy lines however and thus could refrain from getting into a third.
Bah and the fact that King Gojulas is meant to indirectly refer to Gojira, King of the Monsters. No i cannot spend any more money on japanese toys.
I've always loved zoids, I own the entire Chaotic Century series on dvd
And use to have a small collection of the kits, roughly 30 or so.
but last year I traded them with a lady in Kentucky for a large collection of various transformers figures from the movie and Cybertron lines.
Had some expensive ones too... Gojolas Giga, Ultrasaur, Iron Kong...
Just decided to focus on one collection, Transformers, still trying to get rid of some of my Starwars stuff.
My favorite zoid has always been the Shield Liger.
All that was needed is a catalyst... and the machines of war are set in motion.
