Toys you wish you kept, but didn't.

Post by Jazz »

Well, we all have a toy (or toyline) that we used to have that we either sold, gave away, or lost.

I would have to say all the MMPR stuff I had. All the Zords, all the figures..... lost in yard sale when I was a wee lad.

Another would be the bunch off Zoids I built when I was 8 and 9. I had a ton of those guys, and they were awesome..... Stored in garage, broke apart, sold at yard sale.

Third would be Metabots. Lost a bunch of those guys and sold the rest.

Back in its prime, I will admit, I had a stash of DBZ figures. Then when it all died down they, uh, were sent to the "big toy box in the sky" one 4th of july.....heheh...

And last- I think (I hope) I may still have these somewhere, but I really wan't to find all those "The Corps!" figures and vehicles I had.

Well, those are mine. What are yours?

I would have kept all of my original TMNT, I had almost all of them and the plays sets. The sewer set was the best along with the Technodrome. I also had the dress up suits those were cool.

I would have kept Armada Redalert to because that was the first transformer I ever owned.

Great topic.

I am going to stretch this to the original Nintendo. I wish I kept it and all the games I had. And, I wish I never got rid of my Ocarina of Time for N64.

Heh, I'll allow video games. They fit just fine.

If you think Nintendo breaks your heart, imagine my face when we (me and my brothers) found out our Virtual Boy got busted while inside storage. That was the only time me and my brothers huddled together and cried like little girls.

That's horrible. I think we had one for a few days, but I don't remember what happened to it. I just repurchased the gamecube. Hope to have some fun with that again, starting with Windwaker (I have never played this one yet).

Yeah, great topic.

I bought nearly everything I cared for back on Ebay. I already bought several G1 Transformers I lost or sold.
I still need more toys!

man.... so many toys.

Still need a Galoob(anyone remember that company?) The Giant 32 wheel motorized vehicle.

Stomper Water Demon.

More Battle Beasts

M.U.S.C.L.E. figures

TMNT original toys.

That's all I can think of now.

I know I'm missing some.

My little plastic army men. I had a literal army of them. Each side had fighter jets, field hospitals, mobile bridges, trucks, tanks, and of course tonnes of the little OD Green and Beige men themselves...my mother forced me to get rid of all of them when I was in 7th grade....gah...

Great topic! :D
Fortunately I kept almost all of my childhood toys, although I did part with a few that I now wish I hadn't. I remember selling some Star Wars items at a flea market once, an AT-ST among other things. I wish I'd kept that...

I think I may have it somewhere, but probably it won't work... My Photon gun. And I wished more people had it to have battles...

I had a bunch of Go-bots and some generic Transforming toys when I was a young Junkion. But they all got lost on my planet somewhere.
It would be great to have those once more. Even the generics were built strong back then.

My dad gave away one of my rc cars when I was a kid that I paid for with my allowance. I will admit I cried, because of the value of that car to me. I loved that thing and played with it nearly everyday. I guess we were in a pinch and I didnt understand what that meant. After years, when I first heard of ebay, I ended up findaing another one, and I cherish this one now as if its the same one from years ago. Its a tyco Turbo Hopper like the red one:

Just about everything I gave away as a kid. A slew of MOTU figures. Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain and some other vehicles too. All my G.I. Joes and vehicles...had lots of those. Transformers...Gobots...Star Wars figures...M.A.S.K toys...makes me sad to think about it now. Probably all ended up in a garage sale or trashed. The guy I gave them all to found me on facebook too....just didn't have the heart to ask him what had happened to all those toys from yesteryear.

Heck, I think I would have asked anyway. Even though it may hurt just a little.

Oh no, I just remembered some other things I wish I kept- All my Gundam models. (Had a bunch) I built around the same time as Zoids and a little Hot Wheels xar that you would put on a charge thing, it would charge up, then you would release it and it would go super fast. It was larger than most HW cars too. I got it at Target and played with that thing until it got lost. ROTF Scout Dead-End's Alt. mode puts me in the mind of it.
