I recently had a picture with a figure in it Jose which you said may be popy. My local shop owner doesnt know squat about this figure, but would like to know more. I took a couple of closer pics for you to see better.
A question for Jose or other who may know

After some google-fu I was able to find out that this is Godaikin - Machine Dolphin. Maybe if you search more on that series name you might get more details.
I unfortunately don't know anything about Godaikin.
Here's a pic of it in box. Looks like it is a triple changer. (copy and paste into addy bar)

Do you have the figure (machine Man) that goes inside the car/robot suit?
Godaikins are awesome. A couple things to keep in mind with them are completeness (the bigger the robot, the greater the number of tiny, tiny breakable pieces) and condition: the die-cast can chip and scratch easily, especially on the more elaborate combiners.

My heart is die-cast.
