Not intentionally, though some of the smallest line has made its way into my collection over the years. I'd love a Grendizer Jumbo Machinder. Some day.

Those are neat. How long have you been collecting them?

I picked up GoLion (Voltron) at a Church fair for $5 when I was a kid. I traded for Gaiking off another fanboy in the mid-90's. Godzilla and Mazinga I bought at a toy shop in 1997 for $75 and $100 (the most I've ever paid for a toy). Rodan was put together from broken Rodan parts over the years. Raideen I got on ebay in 1999. My wife gave me Dragun for my birthday in 2003 and I bought Daimos around that time off ebay as well. I didn't complete Daimos until last year. He was missing his missiles, rocket first and arm cuff.

I tend to collect on the cheap and over a long period of time, it makes it more fun that way. I would like to get some of the Japanese release Jumbo Machinders, but I'll need to greatly exceed my previous record of spending $100 on Mazinga. Poseidon is my dream figure, and he doesn't come cheap.

Best,
Joe
