Hot Wheels / Matchbox etc....

I am beginning a new phase. I would like to start collecting Hot Wheels / Matchbox (etc.) cars that resemble the G1 Transformers Alt modes.
At this point in time, it's impossible to find a car that looks like Hot Rod or Blurr. But I have seen some cars that look close to the design. I'm even going to hunt for vehicles to match each alt mode of multi changers.

This mission is going to be very difficult and I understand that it might never be completed but I'm going to go for it and see what I can find.

Then on to the aircraft.... I need to find a correctly scaled F-15 jets
Along with helicopters and other air craft. Once again, it's basically impossible to get all the G1 figures like Cyclonus, Six Shot etc..

Obviously, Megatron, Soundwave, cassettes.... are not vehicles in the G1 universe. But looking at some of those bizarre looking Hot Wheels, I got some ideas I could use for those characters.

As for animal alt modes, I'm thinking of just finding some animals figures close to scale with the Hot Wheels size.

I might even go beyond G1 and see what I can find for the Movie trilogy guys.

Now all I need is a little energon and a whole lot of luck.

All your sheepicons caught fire aboard a locomotive due to faulty electrical wiring and were eaten by the Terrorcons.

Good luck on starting a new collection, bud. If you need me to keep an eye out for something just let me know.

If I can find sheep scaled the same as Hot Wheels, I will get them. LOL.

This car has SOUNDWAVE written all over it![/code]

I could use this vehicle for Megatron and Galvatron

i did find an orange dump truck with blue dump bed dated 1979 (aka Wideload) and a red fire truck with a white ladder (aka Inferno)
along with a bunch of HW i found for .25 each.

Hey Jose, you got a HW/TF collection?
I like to call it Transformers / Hot Wheels crossover

Sounds like a fun challenge! Movieverse is pretty easy. Click here and scroll down to RPMs.

Actually, I collect mostly toy cars, my second branch are Transformers and robots. I don't aim for cars because of Transformers, it's the other way around; that's why I mainly have Autobot cars.

I haven't found the exact match for Inferno/Grapple, but they have this cab:

Jose, what is the exact model of Unic crane truck for Hook? I crawled all over the web looking for pictures, and the closest looking crane I found was a Tadano Diesel mounting a Unic boom.
Also, do you happen to know the models of the other constructicons? I know we discussed the model of Long Haul as a Hitachi DH321. My closest guess on Scrapper is a Komatsu.

EDIT: I just checked out your diecastchile site, and with a few lucky clicks, found my way to the Tomica Nissan Diesel crane truck. So, my contribution is that model of Nissan diesel is called the Tadano.

You're quick, Ben!

For the others, they look generic to me. Scrapper could be a Furukawa front loader, which I have, but doesn't have a canopy, so I'm going only for close match. Scavenger and Bonecrusher may also be any other... And Mixmaster has a front grill which I can't recognize on any real truck I know.

I'm doing a lot of research on the Hot Wheels brand right now. I found a couple that look close to some TFs. They got a lot of "bizarre" cars that fit right in with the Cybertron style vehicles. I don't plan to get exact replicas of TF's in the HW scale, I'm going after the closest I can get. Matchbox seems to be the way to go to find a wider range of realistic vehicles. As Hot Wheels are more popular for concept vehicles.
