As I am making a CG series based off my dark future fan fiction {DL link http://lordvulcan.esmartdesign.com/dark ... ullfic.doc , character bios http://lordvulcan.esmartdesign.com/darkfuture.html} I will be using this thread to provide updates and post my progress while also casting voice actors.

Well its supposed to be a hi tech fururistic assault tank(with four treads, two each side). {the remote controlled sponson weapons are not yet on the 3D model[but you can see the mounts on the shoulders and lower legs.}

what style voice are you looking for with Rakx and Maximus Prime..

is there a fiction already with them I can listen too?

I have a really good "non leader/main hero voice" I have been working on
(a character like Hotrod or hotshot not the leader but still a main character)

Rakx is pronouced 'racks'. Send me some voice clips, if there not suitable for maximus prime and rakxs you may get cast as one of the other Tf's present in the fan fic. {the above is for episode 1 only}

So theres a lot of voices and such to be cast. When the project is in a more complete shape I may have to wander over to one of the larger TF sites and see if I can get a bit of help. (Only a handful of TF's in the fic are typecast with accents. Predacon scorponok needs to have a texas accent while Iron warrior Red Baron would ideally need a german accent for example.}

I hope to get the maximus prime model finished to high detail as well as finishing the Lord Vulcan model by the end of the week. {as I don't have much free time to work on them} Then I can do an animation test of the pair having a little disagreement {basically a fight involving there alt modes to begin with, then both transforming and sparring with there close combat armament. }

I'm interested in voicework too, Desz... I speak some German, so i've got a wicked german accent (several, in fact, I did a bunch of diff. German NPC's for an RPG i ran...)

Send us some lines to read, what kinda chars you want, and I'll happily record a sample. (as soon as i knock out this cold)

I have this little sample online already I do a good g1 ironhide. The rest of the vid sounds forced.
I have a few much Better clips of me as the dinobots at home.
I have a pretty good home studio with effects but I didn't use it for this vid this is dry.

Any and all voices will be considered. {I'm not biased towards anyone and have a lot of voice actor places to fill.

As for maximus prime. An update

Sponson weapon {Multiple missile launcher, triple linear laser, plasma cannon and rangefinder is present on each one. Maximus possesses four of them.}

{there has been a slight alteration to this model since I took this little screenshot. He now has a raised black coloured autobot symbol on his chest which doubles are a floor for the assault ramp on the front of the vehicle mode. }
And lastly a vehicle mode pic showing the four sponsons fully armed with missiles as well as the missile rack on the top of the tank also being full of missiles and you can see the large bore solid shot demolition cannon embedded into the vehicles hull.

the additional weapons look good...

Lord Vulcan animation model minus his head.{head still a WIP}
This model has a lot more detail than Maximus prime as every white vent would normally be expelling a light blocking black fog.

{note his scythe and one missile launcher are in his hands which possess fully posable digits compared to maximus primes claw fingers. Some of the other Dark future character feature even more extreme variations on the design of there 'hands'}

Episode 1 VA casting update. {to audition simply send a recorded voice sample of either 'I am [insert character name here]' or a few lines of dialogue for that character taken from the fan fic as an attachment to an email and then send it to my email addy. with the title 'dark future auditions' also label the file name after the character you are auditioning for.}
