Custom Barricade Piece

I was wondering if any one out there is good with styrene as i would love something to be made to go on Barricade's rear window something like the picture below

Considering how small and complicated that piece is I wonder if you'd be better off trying to use really thin steel, like they use to make drafting eraser shields, if you are familiar with such things.

The metal should be much easier to bend up and stay in place like that.

I was thinking more of a simplified version with just the slats layed on top of each other to give the effect just want to cover up that rear window.

I'm about to get a Smoke screen with a broken rear window. I was thinking about doing the same thing you are. I think I can make the pieces for both of us.

I can't make any promises but I'll try. I think we have a 3d printer at school and I think I can get my professor to let me use it.
