Sheepicons

Post by Redline »

I loved Wreck-gar's post about his ship's arrival on Cybertron. The reference to sheepicons and robo-chickens (as creepily as the chickens were portrayed) made me smile, and I thought the sheepicons were something that needed to exist.

(EDIT: I should give credit to Dirge's earlier creation of Robosheep. I wasn't around for that, but have been informed. :) )

Thus - Sheepicon:
Image
-Sheepicons are simple, docile creatures, consuming the spare wires and bits found across Cybertron and transforming them into the energon they need to survive. They typically stay away from areas of activity and tend to wander in groups. The buzz of their wire clippers creates a soft drone in the air around them. All stories of their origin have long been lost, but they are thought to be almost as old a species as Cybertron itself.

Nice job, Redline! I hope you don't take this as an insult, but it looks oddly cute and scary at the same time. Mostly cute though. :)
So good to see you back!

The sheepicons creator, Dirge, will be quite pleased upon seeing this!

Robot creatures tend to be kind of creepy... They're pleasant creepy, though, unlike the robo-chickens that were "tormenting everything alive" or some ilk like that. :? (I was also trying for a style a little older. I bet animated-style sheepicons would be pretty cute.)

Cuuuuute! His large one eye, and the teeth hanging down, remind me of Vortigaunts from Half-Life.
Also, i love the CAT5, coax, RCA, and Orange Extension cords :D

Sorry, Dirge. I don't think I was around for that, but I added credit in the original post. ;)

This seems related...
For those of you who read the webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court, you know what this is. For those who don't, I present the OTHER Cybertronian livestock: LASER COW
Grass length deviation detected. Resizing in progress. *zot*

Thanks a lot Redline, now Dirge has a new PINUP poster in his room.

That is a very creative robosheep.
What does it transform into?

I think a picture of Robochicken is next.

It can lay grenades in the shape of eggs
