Look up "Flitz" for your rusty hubcaps (and any other of numerous problems that stuff can solve). It's a German wonder-chemical for polishing metals, plastics, and all sorts of stuff.

TT is right about Flitz. We sell it at my job for boats. Good stuff. So is Neverdull, which is like this cotton like stuff you rip off then rub across the metal.
