Thanks for your help with identifying my transformer yesterday. I picked up another one today from a garage sale.
Says y& k toys made in japan.

That is definitely not a Transformers.
Although it doesn't much look like a Voltron, either.

no problem, i can't seem to find any information at all.
I find a lot of random toys at garage sales, and its been getting harder and harder to identify.

Actually, a google search revealed that Y&K actually did make Voltron toys... and this one resembles some of them.
What is it made of? Plastic? Die-cast? And is it metallic or flat paint?

it's a hard plastic. His left arm has a spring in it and it shoots out.
He doesn't disasemble

Nice item! That appears to be the 24" Shogun Warriors Jumbo Daimos.
