Can't find any other markings on them.

Are they both the same mold?

For some reason I want to say they were made by Happywell. But, I am probably wrong.

I think I also have that same red figure in my unknown box. I always wondered if they are some kind of combiner. I think I also have a green tank that might go with, and maybe something blue. BUt they're in storage so I cannot check right now. I don't have that plane though.

Are the joints tight or are they loose (so loose that the alternate mode has difficulty staying together)?

If it is really loose its definitely a knock off (unlicensed reproduction of the original). If they are tight and the plastic is good quality it might be an original product.

I really think this is part of the Takara Brave Series of robots. I went and looked at several web sites but their are just so many robots I didn't find them on the list.

joints are pretty tight. after long searching you look to be right on who they are. they are just different colors. not sure but thank you very much for leading me in the right direction!

same exact car. I have that tank in the background to.
I was told these were KO's of the brand they sell at target.
