I know there is a ban on posting ebay auctions but I thought this would be ok.
I was browsing another board I like to frequent and noticed that one of the kitbashers/custom makers put up a thread about making masterpiece versions of the coneheads, and having done so, he put them up on ebay.
Now I'm not advertising for him, vouching, etc. whatever....I just went to the auction and was blown away by the workmanship (and the current bid) and made me entertain the thought of having all 6 seekers in masterpiece form...ah to dream.
Actually, the ban is because we don't want to draw away customers; also we don't like to bash sellers, buyers, etc. Nevertheless, in this case the items are unique and... Exceptions can be made.
We prefer not to abuse this. I recommend that, if you want to show stuff from somewhere else that it's up for sale, to save the picture in your own photobucket or whichever picture hosting service you use, and hotlink it here.
These look nice, but they're based off of Universe figures?
Also, this is not that expensive (yet), a masterpiece Defensor went for over 3000 dollars if I remember correctly.

There's simply NO way these are based off Universe figures. I'd assume they were kitbashed on top of the Hasbro Starscream mold, for simplicity's sake.
I would imagine that now because they have the basic seeker body it won't be long til they do make a the three conehead seekers. Lets hope they do as good a job as that!
