Imagine an alternate reality. Let's call it AUX (short for Alternate Universe X).

In AUX, all TF toys released before G2 came out were identical to the ones in our universe, and all the TF comics and TV shows that came out before G2 did were basically the same as the ones in our universe, but with one major difference: in AUX, TFs in the comics and cartoons looked just like their toy counterparts (except that in robot mode they had the full range of Human motion [or animal motion for robot modes like Laserbeak, Ravage, Trypticon, etc.]).

Do you think Transformers would have been as popular in AUX as it has been in our reality? More popular? Less popular? Would AUX have gotten G2, BW, RiD, Armada, etc.? How different would AUX's post-G1 TF toys be from our post-G1 TF toys? How different would AUX's post-G1 TF comics, TV shows, and movies have been from ours?
