I enjoyed it greatly, it was what I expect. Giant fragging robots killing each other that turn into things XD

Fave 5:
Forrest Battle
Jetfire's scenes
Megs/Screamer interaction
Everything involving Wheelie
Prime's badaftery

Hated 5:
Fallen getting killed soo quickly
no barricade
scorponok's 5 seconds of fame
Devastator not doing much
THONG

Also, check out tfwire podcast ep 188, they read a original BETTER version of the rough script that was waaaay darker

Got my son the book of ROTF...MUCH BETTER than the movie! Wish they had used more of what was in the book to help explains some scenes!

My son and I just saw the ROTF Movie for the third time..trying to see things we didn't see the last time. And i did!!!

The decepticon bot that Jetfire kills when he first lands in the heat of the battle was the little WW1 Bi-winged airplane Ransack..wasn't it?

Yes I noticed that, it was Ransack.

I did not like the movie at all, though I think I need to go and see it again tho.

Nope. That was Mixmaster he squishes. Ransack only appears in the novelization, where he DOES get stepped on by JF.

I respectfully disagree T.T.!

There are two spots in the movie where it appears to be the plane Ransack. In the city when the decepticons begin their attack, it looks like Ransack transforms on a bridge like tower and and is the one that Jetfire squishes when he first lands in the the desert battle.

Will be interested when it comes out on DVD where i can pause to get a closer look see!

You have to look real close TT but the decep JF does slice up after stepping on him does resemble Ransack. I'll see if I can find a screen cap for you.

hm. I'll be interested to see the closeups too, when the DVD comes out. I watched pretty excitedly for a glimpse of ransack in the film, but if he IS in there, i missed it.

I was looking for him too. I'm in the "he wasn't there" camp... though his plane WAS hanging in the museum. I actually thought RANSACK was the one they were going to activate, not Jetfire

. The one big surprise, even though I went into it completely spoiler-free.

I was the *only* person that cheered when Prime died. *sigh*. LOTS of dirty looks when I said something to the effect of "he better STAY dead". Spent the rest of it it mumbling "don't do it Bay... let him die..."

Oh, and FYI, if you don't have a ROTF video game? GET IT! Why?
1) It's BETTER than the movie!
2) Soundwave speaks in the manner WE EXPECT HIM TO!
3) Bumblebee speaks normally!

Yeah Soundwave sound like he should in the DS Decepticon version as well... However Starscream sounds nothing like either his movie version or any other version to date... in fact he sounds more like Megatron than Megatron did.

Yeah, I hadn't gotten to a noticeable Starscream bit yet when I posted that... actually, I think I might have, but mistook him for Megs! LOL. So yeah, it's a problem in the Wii version as well.

I'm not sure... did they use the same voice acting for PS360? I know it's a totally different game...

Ok update for you. After looking at a site {Of which the contents are highly illegal} and viewing the piece of footage between jetfire landing and being attack by scorponok in ROTF. (I will not be sharing the link to the site as I rarely use it)

First off when he flies in Jetfires cane has magically become a double headed battle axe.

Second he cuts MIXMASTER in half and grabs the upper body of that particular decepticon. When he slams mix down onto the concrete ruins mixmasters drum wings make him look like ransack but alas this is not true.

Thus its a trick of the eye in this scene. Was there somewhere else he was spotted. I think I can provide a blurry pic to prove the point about mixmaster if required.

yea i saw the movie a couple weeks ago it didnt have breakaway in it and they only show a glimpse of barricade. cant wait for it to come out on dvd though

Its too bad the original guy Chris Latta that did the voice is dead. However, I watched an interview with the guy who did Dinobot's voice (wierd I know), he and Latta worked together some and he was able to mimmick his voice perfectly. I wish I could find the clip. Bay probably wouldn't have used him anyway, just like he has something against Frank Welker.
