AFter the great war, did the preds feel gulity that their ancestors cause the war and made to feel bad about it?Did they just feel gulity because they don't go around conquering like their ancestors or their ancestors losing it?

I think they made peace with the maximals, just to end the war. Deep down though, none of the preds liked it and thats where the beast wars came in.
