G1 Cartoon Errors List

Lets list all the "errors" we can easily see in the G1 cartoon

I noticed that, in specifically episode 2, the autobots could fly just like the decepticons...then all of a sudden, they can't in future episodes!!! They rode surfboards, used rocket packs, etc. Meanwhile megatron and soundwave, the flying gun and casset deck, are cruising along in the air at their own convenience.

Also, in the second episdoe when Rumble is making the tidal waves at the bottom of the dam and Hound has to rescue Spike...And then we have these lovely picks... LOL

Hound says "easy Spike, you almost flooded your engine"

A final one, I noticed Preceptor "Rolling out" with the other Autobots in Microscope form...that cracked me up too

You should put those in the caption competition thread. There will be many funny captions to go with them!

The Autobots flying thing was just a "we need them to be able to fly" for this part sort of thing. Perceptor can actually Transform into a TF sized Tank, he uses the microscope lens as a barrel to shoot with. As for Spike and Hound....I will leave those to Galvatron.

no the bots were just jumping really high. I remember Prowl telling me about that many earth years ago. Also Sideswipe does have a rocket pack at all times.

I dont think that could be considered an error.

When you think about it a humans "ENGINE" is in his/hers chest.

i did see one the other day when megatron and starscream had the decepticons start a diversion on the autobots so they could put that contraption in autobots recharging chamber and rumble caused optimus and ratchet to fall in a crack that he just made and rumble looked in the crater and optimus and ratchet flew back up and this one had skyfire in it

And in g2 all of the autobots fly no problem!

The G2 cartoon was the G1 cartoon with a new opener and closer and a smattering of CGI.

Okay, due to having a six year old son, I recently downloaded all four seasons of the show including the cartoon movie.

When I was feeling sick, I was laying on the couch while my son was watching the first or second episode of the first season....I have noticed something....

According to the show, the Autobots and Decetacons crash landed on Earth four million years ago....half of there spaceship stuck out of a mountain....four million years later there is some kind of oil refinery or some kind of factory...and nobody ever noticed this? Nobody ever noticed a huge freaken spaceship sticking out of a mountain? No guy ever walked over on his lunch break and said "Gee, I wonder what that thing is?" LOL

didnt it get covered over time and then the volcano erupted and part uncovered it and thats what turned teletran 1 on?

If it weren't for Starscream the Autobots would have never been re-activated at all! His "parting" laser shots I gather at the opening of the cave/crash shite caused vibration that threw Optimus Prime into Teletraan One's scanning thingy and got him accidentally repaired.

What I'd like to know is, Megatron, why you didn't destroy Starscream sooner.

Like I'm ever out of character.)

There are several reasons why Starscream remains among the functioning. He is an intelligent and capable warrior and leader, with significant physical strength and offensive capabilities. In jet mode, he's our fastest as well as the most skilled flyer. Ruthless and cruel, he makes an excellent lieutenant, despite his blatant aspirations to my position. And those aspirations are probably why I should have terminated him long ago. Yet...there is something about him that makes me hesistant. Perhaps I do feel some similarity, some connection with him. Were I in his position wouldn't I do everyhting in my power to become leader? But I cannot allow my fascination with his behaviour to become my undoing; if Starscream were to ever become a serious threat, he would be dispatched in a very final manner.
