Transformers DVDs, G1 and up
Just wondering what DVDs to buy to get all TV-series..
I'm currently sneak-peaking my way up the seaons on youtube, but I want the whole collection as well.
So, any recommendations? Are there 'all-in' packages out there? Where to buy from?
I don't care so much for Beast Wars or Animated yet (should I?), but eventually I'll succumb to those as well I guess.
Thanks!
Hound

There's a G1-complete collection that comes in a tin box, which i hear is relatively cheap and good. Check amazon or half.com. The japanese series are also mostly out on DVD, but i'm not sure what region. I'd ask CM and Desz about those.
Lastly, YES! Beast Wars is the best-written TF series. It's a little bit more mature than G1, with fewer characters, so they're developed more. It has Season and Series-spanning plots, more evil plans, and lots of G1 nods and little background easter eggs. Animated has also been pretty good entertainment, with plenty of homage to G1, while keeping things pretty fresh. Preview some of these series online, and you'll become convinced!

i ordered my tin set from hkflix.com. The shipping was free (in the US at least) and the service was impeccable. They also had the lowest price of any online retailer I could find.
The quality of the set itself is on par with the rhino releases. The menus are just in chinese but can be navigated with just a little guesswork.
Also there's a final disc in the 15 disc set that has many exhaustive coverages of detailing animation work, cel cleaning, script writing, scene prep, etc. etc. which i am not sure is on the rhino releases or not.

I'll get u the links soon enuff, but I will tell you, if you wanna save some money, then u should wait closer to the Christmas Holiday!
Also, if u don't have a Region 2 player, u r gonna have some problems! There is a simple solution, tho if u can stand to lose $40!
The Philips 3960 is the solution! U can pick it up at Walmart and I have to tell you, this DVD is great for the money! It has HDMI ports, so u can hook it up to your HD/Blu-ray TV, it converts PAL to NTSC and vice-versa, and it can be hacked to play all Regions! It's the best DVD purchase I've ever made, especially for the money!
I'll get the links to the hack, as well, if you need it! The set that seibertron.com advertises for the G1 cartoon is good, but I actually bought it from an Austrailian-based company that sold it for $20 cheaper, last holiday! I'll try to get the link for them, but I've checked them recently and they aren't on sale yet!
Amazon.uk.co is the best way to get the Takara Collection with all the G1 Japanese series!

This is as good a place to ask as any I guess.........
Can you guys please tell me what two collectible cels came with the American release of Transformers: Season Three Part Two and Season Four?
Who were the characters featured on them?
I know that's an odd question but...consider the source.
Thank you for the help in advance 'cause I really have to know!

I read a review about that recently. As far as I know, the cels were supposed to be totally random. The guy writing the review mentions getting one with Rodimus Prime.Roar wrote:Can you guys please tell me what two collectible cels came with the American release of Transformers: Season Three Part Two and Season Four?
I could be wrong though
