Beast Wars / G1 (SPOILER ALERT)

I've been thinking. Since in BW, the Maximals and Predacons go back to before G1 and the story line continues, they leave behind the Predacon ship AND the remnants of the Axalon.

So saying that, don't you think either the Autobots or Decepticons in G1 would have discovered that? I know that G1 came out before BW, but do you think if they re-wrote G1 for a modern time, do you think they'd include the tid-bits left behind by the Maximals and Predacons?

heres my verdict.

As both the axalon and the pred ship were mostly destroyed. [Pred ship was destroyed by tigerhawk. Most of the axalon ended up underwater and the other part would have been destroyed by the eruption that reawakened the autobots and cons. ] And the fact maximals and preds were so much smaller than autobots and cons would lead me to think that anything left behind by them would be rendered unusable by the autobots.

The original nemesis crashing could explain where Megatron gets the heart of cybertron {already in a G1 ep}

If they redid G1 I would prefer it if they came up with brand new episodes to fill the gap between series 2 and the movie.

The Axalon was basically destroyed and they scavenged parts for defending the ark. When the Nemesis attacked, Megatron tore open the mountain to get at the Ark and presumably destroyed the Axalon bits defending it in the process. As for the Darksyde, it was pretty much obliterated when Tigerhawk landed asteroid-style. Even Tarantulas' lab was obliterated by the Vok. There was basically no evidence left to indicate the Beast Wars had even taken place.

Here's one: if BM is technically part of G1, and in G1, unicron took big raking gashes out of it in the movie, shouldn't there have been dirt and rocks flying up when he did that?

oh wait, it's beast machines!

This could easily get confusing, you lost me ages ago. Not having seen Beast wars, I am guessing that the Autobots go back in time somehow then.

Derrick has a few episodes of Beast Wars that he got when he bought a collection, and now having watched those few episodes I can say that it looks like a load of rubbish to me. I mean come on, Dinobot telling Megatron that he is a fool because he landed on the wrong planet, then megatron saying that it does not matter which planet they are on.

That is just wrong to me, Megatron would have killed the pilot and Dinobot there and then.

That is what I think anyway.

um.... he sorta does. in the next 45 seconds, megatron steps aside and lets scorponok feed him some missiles. you didn't watch enough for it to make sense

i hate to say it, but i think BW megatron is the smartest megatron.

Having now watched all of the episodes he has, it is growing on me. I liked the one where the Manta Ray appears

" Slag the rules " or something he says .......... That is classic

Also the one where Rattrap says
" Make like a boat and float " ........... another classic

Poor Snarl, looks like you're getting hooked. I guess you need to just bow your head and by the series. Its the best ever. I agree with TT as well. Beast Wars Megatron is definately the smartest Megatron.

On the subject of Beast Machines, they should have just continued beast wars a little longer. The BM cartoon didn't make any sense. Its good, but very very confusing.

I probably am, I just worked along the dvd shelf, so he must have them filed in the wrong order
