Actually I could never stand pong. I didn't start getting into games until Sega Genisis. I didn't become, what the world typically refers to as a "gamer", until Playstation 2 came around.
The only "old" game I ever liked was Tetris, and I never bothered to play past lvl 15...
These days if im not chatting with you guys online, or at work, im on my 360 or my ps2, and when I hang out with friends, where commonly playing games more than not.
This past week I've spent 29 hours on Oblivion, and 15 hours on Gears of War 1 & 2.
But the game series that got me to this point is "Armored Core" When me and my friend Bill first got our PS2's back in High school that was the first game we got and for the first couple of months the only game we played. Which we played roughly 6+ hours a day.
Anyways the first Transformer Movie game wasn't the worst game I've ever played, it had good graphics, interesting side storys, and neat extras. However it got real boring real quick, the combat was lame, you had all these guns and firepower that was completley useless against another transformer. Everyone you had to fight had to be beaten with some gimmick or external force, i.e. throw a tanker truck at them.

All that was needed is a catalyst... and the machines of war are set in motion.
