My wife and I were planning a trip to the states around that time. Though when asked it was going to be the next week. The we talked about it and we are looking to just me comming back a week earlier to get to go to the BOTCON. I am wicked stoke to be even talking about it right now.

this years theme is generation 2 with 5 new figs. 1st one is on the page I personally dont like the color scheme

The first one is a recolor of Classics Inferno. The downfall of this fig is in classic 90's fashion, the leader of the autobots here on earth, Spark, is clad in retro G2 colors. I think they could have let him be one color though. EDIT, my bad the registration for the event is still being delayed.

Who is Autobot Spark? Is he also known by a different name? Is it supposed to be hero prime?

Why use Inferno to make a different G2 character when Inferno was actually in G2 (although pretty much identical to the G1)?

Spark was also released under the name Pyro.

Also, for the record, G2 characters all had exorbitant rank titles and rank scores. For example, Rapido, an axelerator (small autobot car), had a rank of TEN... to Optimus Prime's NINE. I try to ignore G2 Tech specs, since the dumb ones have an INT of like 8...

Ok...so now we're coming up on April 1st and still no registration info, correct? And I assume that no one can order the exclusives yet either?

How many of us are actually going? I see so far:

Trance (barring some weird baby dangling incident...)
Compy - definite
audionmotionink - definite
F18 - maybe
Mandy - maybe
TLA - maybe
Sideways - maybe

I hear TT is out because he'll be too busy *cough* "working"...twerp
