Off to the GI Joe Con!

Figures, not really a huge GI Joe fan and I'm able to go to that. Huge Transformer fan and unable to attend when it was in Providence a couple years back!

It was decent. I didn't get to check out any of the panels or the Hasbro tour. So it was all dealer room for me. I was only there on Sunday so I missed a lot. Checked out the diorama contestants, got to see Larry Hama, spoke to a guy that makes dioramas for Hasbro for use on their packaging. He had some stuff on hand and it was incredible. Speaking to him was the best part of the show for me. It was just one of those random things you never put much thought into but then you talk to someone and it was well worth your time.

No, I sold off most of my GI Joe stuff years ago so I wasn't really interested in most of the stuff at the con. I was on the lookout for Transformer stuff but there was very limited stuff. It was either out of my budget, nothing I was interested in or stuff I could find at local shops cheaper. I can have a good time just looking at toys so I didn't mind too much leaving empty-handed.
