Diaclone Triple changer Jet type - Blitzwing 1983

Post by Blood moon »

Hi,

I just found a Diaclone Triple Changer Jet Type from 1983 who was later rename Blitzwing.

There´s not much information on this site. Any idea what it’s worth.

Thanks,

In all likelihood, this is a US-market knockoff of Jet Type, unless it bears Takara stamping on the wing. Several Diaclone and Microchange toys were sold as KOs in the West during the mid-80s, often in boxes closely resembling their official counterparts, but with the text translated into engrish. Here are some photos of a boxed sample:

Another boxed sample (missing the missiles) in very nice condition recently sold for $160, so I'd guess the value of yours to be $50-60 with the right buyer.
Also, the three black missiles you photographed with yours are from G1 Optimus Prime. This figure came with white missiles, as seen on the sprue in the 3rd photo of the Worth Point listing, above. Hope this helps!
