My baby. No seriously, she is. Not paying attention to her results in all sorts of mayhem. She needs her TLC and then some, or she'll vommit all over me. And when she does, it's $$$$.

Still, I gotta love her.

Crappy pic I took when driving her back from the day of the sale.

This is how she looks in broad daylight, only mine's, yeah, black.

Those in the know will know what it is. The others will just assume it's a Ferrari, so why burst the bubble...? :P

Yeah, you got it, there's always something wrong with them, and if there isn't, well, that's wrong as well!
They're super nimble on their feet though, 2 turns lock to lock, but parking is hell yeah, mostly due to the wheels not turning much with a big transverse engine up front.

And the soul comes alive at 7000rpm... :P

I've never heard a car described that way, just toys!

For 10 points, I think it is missing the shifter on the tree?

My ma' has a Bel-air. I can't remember what year. The pics must be on the ol' lady's camera. But here is and old Ford (?) she has. Missing the amazing person. The Bel-Air runs, and she looking to sell them. Seriously.

EDIT: Sorry about the big pic, I forgot to set my Photobucket thing back to a smaller size. :x

It must be nice to have a couople of old model a's. I have a 1957 Chevy 210. It needs lots of TLC and work. I'll see if I cant get some pics up soon.

BTW, a couple of you sent some guesses on what's missing from my T. Look again. Where's the shift lever!?

Ford was trying a 2-speed transmission called a planetary (so named for gears orbiting a central sun gear), and it's shifted with the pedals! throttle is a lever on the steering column, and spark advance is the other column lever. I can't wait to learn to drive it! (first we've got to get the wagon running!)

That sounds a bit like an old series ten Ford tractor column change. Both of the gear levers were mounted on the steering column and they are hell to drive untill you get used to them. :x . That and the Dual Power versions liked to run away on you whenever you went down a hill.

I have just had a vision of you with one foot on one door pulling at the other one screaming let me out.

Then your lady wife handing the keys back to the security guard ...........

Seriously though, I have always thought of marrage as the biggest blessing that a person can have.
