Starting a new (small) collection
I have started a new collection of transformers. Most of it is the new movie line that came out last year. Some other pieces are ones that i had owned in the past years ago.
My girlfriend is getting involved now with a small collection too. She has a handful from a while back and is also collecting a few female characters.
We were able to get these two characters Elita One and Arcee from the new line. And, I know Arcee was in the 1986 movie.
We can't find any others. I thought I remembered more coming out after the 1986 movie.
Does anyone know of a few of these character names? Any one selling them on this Site? Or, know where they can be found still?
Thank you,
Douglas_B

Welcome, Doug. I know little beyond 1985 Transformers, but besides what's been said, the other female characters I can remind of are Blackarachnia from Beast Wars (quite hard to find, at least here), Airazor from Beast Wars too, Blackarachnia is supposed to be a character too in Beast Machines (although I don't remember seeing a toy of her) and finally the red Tracks re-released by eHobby which is supposed to be a female character called Road Rage.

Yep, I am enjoying it.
I am 26 and living in OH. Moved here a few years ago from California. Besides a few freaking cold winters I like it here. As I was saying earlier, after watching the movie (2007) I thought it would be neat to start up a small collection and place them on display.
I think I have went over dozens and dozens of pages on this Site. And, seen hundreds of transformers. It has been a huge shock of nostalgia into my system. Been thinking... "I remember that." or "I owned him." or "damn, I wish I owned him."
If I must pick a side then I must say, "Autobots roll out!" (ok that is a phrase probably used too often, oh well )

My girlfriend thinks my small collection has become too big. Now, some of the collections I have seen on here are pretty impressive. I wouldn't mind reaquiring some of the older transformers I used to have.
Do tell me about botacon. Is their an official web site? Want to hear the details!
Piranacon, I hope to stick around. I am realizing that my chosen forum name doesn't quite fit in here... hehe.
