Hey all im jessica. My boyfriend and i have been into transformers for a long time. Ive read a few things on this forum but havent joined until now. he thinks he knows it all. most of the time i think hes full of it. Hes got this theory about the reissues vs the originals. he thinks you can tell a reissue by looking at the logo on the box. he says on reissue boxs the middle of the "O" in transformers is plain white. its like this on all our TRU reissue boxs
In our collection, we got no original packages, so i dont know for sure. Can anyone confirm this? did they make it blank on accident? is my bfriend just full of crap?
Thanks for bringing attention to that, I have just noticed that only Sideswipe's box looks like that. However, I think it's much easier to tell a reissue box when it comes to TRU releases, as they have a much more modern boxart, to start with...
Jose, I think u are right but there is the blank space in the "O" on the skids box too. I guess its just a printing error or something.
Sixshot, autobot or decepticon? hmmm, Im a big fan of the autobots since they have such heroic leaders like rodimus and optimus, but the decepticons are just so much cooler. and Megatron is hilarious! so Im going to have to go with decepticon! lol

Sure is, but I can't confirm, as the Skids I currently have is the old issue, coming loose. The TRU figures I have are only all three Datsuns, both standard Lamborghinis and Hoist. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out! As it has been said before, welcome and let's hope you stick around.
