Thanks for those links Ramjet.

I saw this on the JCP one:

I brought a boxed one of these about a week ago, minus weapons off e-prey! lol Its a Robo Machine Robot Winch Truck. It still works (after a bit of first aid) although a gear doesnt seem to mesh right in 4X4 mode. The stickers on mine are only slightly different to those featured on that site.

I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.

Is +1 on Kups list.

Really.... Transformers prices/values haven't risen that much over the years.

I do however wish I had a time machine! Thanks for posting that! Reminds me of the days when the world was a little more fun and bright.

To know others you must know yourself first!

The bigger they are the bigger thud they make when they fall!!!

I have a stash of those somewhere and if you want them you're more than welcome to them if I can find 'em, 'Jet.

The Wacky Packages series of Topps stickers hearken back to that time but in the sanitized politically correct world of today I don't think Roy Bot and the rest of the Garbage Pail Kids would last...however I firmly believe the live action movie nailed the GPK coffin shut.

Here they were called "Basuritas", which is a diminutive in cute form for "rubbish". They were an instant success, but because of the names they spawned pranks on most kids, and therefore they were banned from many schools (parents were called to enforce this in their homes). Maybe because this very reason their popularity boosted incredibly and they are heaps popular. They were first released in 1987, but were reissued in 1999. Thanks again Helmet, for such good memories! I think you would be a frequent guest in my home if you lived near me...

I think that one is from a new set they just put out. I'd like to have it just for He-Man and OP. And I have 2 more I found: Kink Kyle (Kong) and Karate Kyle.

Uh, Optimus is NOT broken. I do, however, know of a toy whose both old and new versions break easily. so much so, he won't transform him self!
