The obligatory 'I'm new here' thread!
What's up everyone? Here's a little info on me: I'm 31, from Louisville Kentucky and have been in love with Transformers ever since Hasbro blessed us with the '84 line of toys. My first Transformers were Ravage and Frenzy, but on my birthday that year my friend gave me Trailbreaker. Unfortunately he commited suicide 10 years later. I've decided to use Trailbreaker as my screen name in honor of him. I'm mostly interested in the first 3 waves of G1 Transformers, but have recently been looking for figures that never made it to the United States. The prize piece of my collection is a Diaclone Browning complete with box. I look forward to reading many of your posts and maybe even make a few deals.

Something that I didn't mention before is that I work at a store that sells comics, toys and of course vintage TFs. I'm in school at the moment, so I don't have alot of free time, but if there is something that isn't in the Transformerland store that you want send me a message and I will look for it when I have a free moment. Of course check the store here first.
Me too! And I've noticed a definite trend when it comes to our customers and our TFs:Trailbreaker wrote:Something that I didn't mention before is that I work at a store that sells comics, toys and of course vintage TFs.
Step one: Walk into the store.
Step two: Spot our G1 TFs in the glass case.
Step three: Scream "OH MY GOD, THAT'S THE ORIGINAL MEGATRON!" and have a minor heart attack.
Step four: Notice the price.
Step five: Leave the store, crying.
Of course, there are a few other minor steps in-between these (such as "Ask me stupid questions," or "Rant about the collection you had as a child and lost"), but I believe that the above are the ones hit most often...

If I had a dollar for everytime I heard that about comics. Apparently everyone over 50 had EVERY Spider-Man comic until their Mom threw it away.Of course, there are a few other minor steps in-between these (such as "Ask me stupid questions," or "Rant about the collection you had as a child and lost"),
We had a complete Fort Max not too long ago. One of our regulars was waiting for the store to open on a sale day. I recently picked up a goregeous complete G1 Wheeljack and a fantastic Reflector which is complete and has very tight joints. I can't make any money there because I spend my entire shift staring at a wall that is covered in Toys.
