As a newbie just thought I'd post and say 'hello' to everyone.

My name's Glenn and I live in Northern England, UK.

I've been accessing TFL for sometime but nevere quite got round to checking out the forum and signing up - took my time, but got there in the end!!

Actually, you probably do... it seems like so few people here will take the time to be an active member of any community, which is probably why all our geographic communities are not very cohesive and falling apart.

I truly enjoy the people and conversation here but the reason why I stay is for the bottomless box of wine and raw un-refrigerated shellfish bar in the back!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! You sure are a friendly bunch!

Don't know where to start really - I'm 33 years old, live in the beautiful old city of York in Yorkshire, UK. Got into Transformers when I was a kid, and have a renewed interest (and rather good excuse) to getting back into them in adulthood on account of having a 5 year old son!

I think someone's (sorry! missed your username!) post on here was bang on the nail when they said I'd spend the next 3 weeks looking through all the odl posts.

Oh, and cheers! The oysters are indeed 'yummy'!
