Snarl / Kaths absence

I feel that I must tell you all that kath will be absent for at least a week.
Last week she was violently assaulted by her own father and he left her with a cracked rib and a punctured lung. She stayed at home for the weekend but at 4am this morning she was rushed into hospital unconsious after gasping for breath and passing out. She will be ok but she is very poorly and will be in hospital for a week at least. I will be on and off the forum, but if you need to contact me for anything just pm and I will respond.

Poor Kath, she is such a nice girl and doesn't deserve anything like this. My thoughts are with you both and as GB says, anything we can help you with be sure to let us know.

I'm at a loss for words.....I only know Kath from the few PM's when I bought something from you guys. But she seems like such a wonderful person. It angers me to no end what her own father did to her. Send her my best wishes and I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

If you were here in the States I know a few guys

And like Ramjet said.....It is awfully dangerous working around all that farm equipment....you never know when a Tractor is gonna roll over ya.

Wish her well......Keep us posted as to her recovery.

That's not right. Her father is an asshole and deserves to be put in jail and left to rot. If my father did that to me I would never speak to him again. Dirge, You must be pissed off to no end. I would have kicked his ass to Cybertron and back again!

I hope everything turns out well and she makes a swell recovery! I think we should all sign an E-card or something and deliver it to her. Kath is a very sweet woman and I can't begin to comprehend how someone could do such a thing!

I'm tempted to ask for a phone number to call and say Hi when she's feeling better!

Geez, that guy seems like he needs to meet the fishes. I hope she gets better soon. She really is a nice girl, and you're a lucky guy to have someone like her. I hope she gets better, and I hope he disappears for a long while.

Get your father some help or stay away from him.

That's terrible! I was shocked beyond words when I read this!

Just come back from the hospital, Kath is still poorly, but she is awake and driving the nurses around the bend coz she keeps trying to do everything herself without any help. She has a tank of oxygen for if she gets short of breath, but she flatly refuses to use it, saying there are people who need that more than she does. Doctor says that she will make a full recovery so that will do for me. As for the animal who did this to her, he will not be bothering us again.

How old is she BTW?

She is either 27 or 28. ( I can never remember

)

I would have kicked his ass to Cybertron and back again!

) deserves a meeting with a bailer, combine havister (even a long spell in a wheat dryer !!!)

, and realy needs to have the police involved, has she some were else to go when she leave hospital to get away from him ?.

Its ok she has lived with me for the last 4 years and this is only the second time in 14 years that she has seen him, so he will not be back
