Look for Rare Color Varient
I am looking for this rare Beast Wars Transmetal Pink varient of Optimus Primal. Anyone know where I can find one? Haven't had any luck on Evilbay!
How would I put it as a saved search on ebay where it would notify me of one being listed?
Here's a link to a pic of it. Scroll down toward bottom.

Other than here and the obvious other place no clue where you'd find that toy. He is a uniqule looking thing I'll grant you that.
I couldn't help but notice that Kenner was on the back of the box. Is that by any chance a European version/variant of Optimus Primal perhaps?
I've noticed on another toy line I've been buying (Action Man) that even though Hasbro owned the rights to the toy Kenner was on all of the European packaging.
But I don't know it just seems odd for Kenner to be on a Hasbro toy. It isn't uncommon for large toy companies to share property rights in other countries.
Or did Hasbro let Kenner make Beast Wars for the US market?

Well thank you! Thats interesting and obviously I didn't know that!
Thanks, 'Trap!
I wonder how many of those colored toy variants for Primal were made?

Sorry never even knew about that one.
my guess is its either a factory defect {Like the early Cryotek boxes having TM megatron red boxart}, a photo shopped image or a custom passed off as an original.
its in english packaging so its not japanese takara tomy who package there TF's so much nicer than hasblow. (Take Gigastorm for example. zero twisty ties)
EDIT. there does exist a variant with a slight purple tint. I can't find evidence of a pink optimus primal anywhere other than that site. I'm thinking KO or custom. It may even be a competition prize.
SECOND EDIT:
the purple tinted variant is labeled as pink optmius primal:

not sure were i read about but deszaras is right , these was no officialy pink version , it was the dye thay used, and depending on the batch it has something to do with it (eg batch 1 had a better mix so turned more blue , but other batchs came out more purple and some near the pink side of things ), sorry to say but realy it depends on the figure you picked up as to the colour (there not classed as a varation even though thay are a diffrent colour ) dam wish i can explain what i mean better
