Greetings all
Hi all, greetings from the netherlands (yes Cliffjumper, you were correct ).
Let me introduce myself, my name is robin. Been collecting again since 2004. General interest is g1 transformers and.. macross/robotech.
Started when I found my old transformers at the attick when I was moving out. So I had an display cabinet in my livingroom with a defensor, roadbuster and 2 terrocons.
Because this wasn't filling up the space.. slowly I started buying more on the local market. Joined 2 dutch transformers messageboards and then they poored in like crazy. Eventually looked outside the netherlands and started buying in the US, japan, asia etc etc. At this moment its unique when I find something of my interest locally..
Since about 1,5 year ago my interest switched to japanese g1 transformers. This year I was quite bussy on my victory collection, which grew fast (much 2 fast!). At the moment I am 2 dinoforce members short on completing my victory collection.
Other interest is the scf figures. I am missing 13 of them for completion.
Allready started on zone, and return of convoy toys.
My macross collection isn't that big, it's still growing but at a much slower rate. Mostly due to their huge pricetags (i know, sounds weird when you look 4 sentences back.. all about priority and budget).
Really dont know if its allowed, but here are some of the most recent pictures of my collection.
Good old times, 1 display cabinet
Then you buy a second, and a 3rd. And currently it's this big
More Pictures
sorry for the size of the pictures, they are big (just like joey the cat )

Thanks Quite proud on what my collection has become in the last years.Roar wrote:Welcome! Thats some kind of collection you have there, Greatshot!!!! Extremely nice! I love your cabinets too! I need to buy some like your's!
Who is Joey the cat?
Joey the cat, last picture, under the table
A 5kg british Shorthair cat (looks alot like heatcliff) who sometimes fights with fortress. Fortress isn't that big of a warrior
They are , I cant fit all of my collection in the 3 cabinets.. A part of my collection is stored in boxes.Rumble wrote:Welcome to TFL Greatshot! That is truley an awesome collection you have there. Even with those 3 cabinets it looks like they are about to burst out, it is most impressive.
Currently I am designing a custom cabinet which can hold the big ones like brave and fortress. These cabinets arent for sale (dimmension wise), so I have to build that one by myself.

Damn! Makes me wish I started my Japanese G1 collection when u did, ! It's soooo much more expensive, now, !
Anywayz, welcome to the boards,
And BTW, I introduced your character in the RPG as a Non-Playable Character that I would use from time to time, so let me know if u wanna participate in the RPG, so I won't use him, randomly,
