Nice reference to Screeching Weasel. I think Dingbat and Hey Suburbia are their best songs and Bark Like a Dog is their best album. I am a big fan of idie pop-punk and music in general.
I finally got around to taking some pictures of my small collection. The ones in good shape I bought as a collector, and those in bad shape, well those are from when I was a kid and played with them. Optimus Prime was my first transformer and I got him Christmas 1985(the one in the pic is a recent purchase). I borke him and most of my other Transformers in an attempt to make a "super robot" like Devastator in 1986. I ended up with a bunch of broken Transformers instead. I hope the pictures show up.

Nice collection that you have there, DillWeasel. I especially like the pictures of Prime and Megatron, not to mention the minty looking Jetfire along with Sixshot. Also be sure to post these pics up in the 'Collection' thread in Toy Talk as well.

R.I.P, Menasor.
I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.
Is +1 on Kups list.

Thanks for the compliments! The Jetfire pictue makes him look a little nicer than he is. He is nice and tight, but has a bit of yellowing on his front side in robot mode and a stress mark on his antenna. I have a whiter one (I hope) on the way.
Sixshot is from my childhood. I found him in my mom's basement last summer and had to do an arm transplant, now he is good to go.
I did just crack open a re-issue Dirge and added him to the collection today. I tried to keep him MISB, but I just couldn't do it.
I picked up those pictures at Wizard World Chicago last summer. There was a really awesome one of Soundwave too. I will see if I can find the guy's business card.

Hahah, Ben Weasel is a mad genius U ever heard of the Parasites? They're my all-time favorite...DillWeasel wrote:Nice reference to Screeching Weasel. I think Dingbat and Hey Suburbia are their best songs and Bark Like a Dog is their best album. I am a big fan of idie pop-punk and music in general.
Hey, I was wondering if your Jetfire had the gunclip, I didn't notice it in the pic...here it is in all its glory:
Oh, and I will spare Kath some emotional scarring and not mention Ben's age, lol...although...as long as he's been around here, he must be getting up there!
